Ashley’s practice focuses on business disputes, commercial litigation and insurance coverage. Prior to joining Shingler Lewis in 2012, Ashley was an associate at another Atlanta law firm, where she litigated labor and employment and complex commercial matters. Her experience includes cases involving business torts, employment discrimination and retaliation claims, and breach of contract claims, as well as transactional work in employment contracts and commercial real estate closings. Earlier in her career, Ashley served as an indigent defense attorney in Henry County, Georgia. In 2017, she was elected Member-at-Large to the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Bar Association.

Before becoming joining the Georgia Bar, Ashley completed legal and research internships at Atlanta Legal Aid, the Office of the Attorney General of Georgia and the William J. Clinton Foundation. She subsequently worked at the investor relations firm Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher in New York City, where she provided strategic and financial communications counsel and support to publicly-traded companies across a wide range of industries.
